Well all, I leave Wednesday in the early am for the con and will be back on the following monday.

If anyone will be there, leave a message here and Ill get back to you. Still dunno exactly what booth Ill be working at, but in my off hours I hope to wander around a good bit and see as much as I can.

So how long does it take for you to do one of your bodypaints? Is it all airbrushed on or painted by brush or some combination there of?

And where do you get such awesome ideas? Do you sketch them out beforehand or does it all kind of come together on the person as you are painting them?

Lastly, Im truly impressed and keep getting more and more impressed by what I see. I wanna be a body model for your painting someday.

Hi, it´s Päivi here!
- Normal time for fullbodypainting is 7-9 hours. Time is connecting on details, bodyjewels and how many colours I´m going to use. Simple animals, like in Wild Nature calendar, takes 3-4 hours. My biggest work is Mother Earth, 20 hours. Mostly I do 9 hours bodypaintings.
- I don´t use airbrush, only paintbrushes and sponges. Traditional is the best.
- Ideas just come in my head. The whole world is my inspiration! I also get great ideas from my friends. People are free to send bodypainting ideas for me. I like detailed and colourful designs.
- I don´t do sketchs. I just start to paint. Sometimes I have to do sketch, but last time I drew one is long time ago.
- Just welcome to Finland and I will paint you!
